DOES DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE HURT?

People respond differently to treatment. It is completely normal to feel sore for 24/48hours after treatment, and it is also normal to not feel any discomfort.

This technique carries blood and nutrients to your muscles whilst eliminating toxins. The soreness is the physical response to inflammation while the body is healing.
Drinking plenty of fluids helps to lessen the effects and helps flush toxins from your system.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

If you have no major health concerns, we will can arrange an appointment. When you arrive you will be asked to complete a short medical form prior to your first massage. This is so that I can learn everything I need to know to ensure safe and effective treatment for you.

I will complete a physical assessment if needed and then we will then get straight to the fun part - your massage!

If you do have major health issues, please text, email or call with more information and we can go from there - not all health concerns will stop you from enjoying a massage, but lets chat first!

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR AND/ OR PROVIDE?

Please wear comfortable clothing that can be removed if necessary. Shorts are a great option.

Underwear is a must - I am professional massage therapist!

Your comfort & saftey is of the utmost importance so, you may supply 2 x towels for your treatment - which I will use to keep you warm and your modesty intact, however, I have plenty of big soft fluffy towels at the clinic if you prefer.

WILL YOUR MASSAGE COUCH HOLD ME?

Please do not worry. My specialist massage therapy couch is extra padded and can has a max weight tolerence of 37 stones in weight.

I AM EMBARRASSED BY MY BODY...

Please do not let this stop you from enjoying the health benefits of massage therapy.

Firstly, I am a professional therapist. I have seen hundreds of clients of all different body types. There is no judgement of ANY kind.

And secondly, Your modesty and comfort is very important to me. You will be given privacy to get ready and then covered with a towel so that only the area I am working on is exposed.
